Oceanside Building Learning Together presented “Educating the Heart” on  Saturday, April 25th, 2015 in Parksville.

kindness. – His Holiness the Dalai Lama

People with children in their life through work, family or friends,  came together learn how to foster heart-mind well-being in them. We joined Tracy Smyth from the Dalai Lama Centre for Peace and Education to learn about:

  • The 5 qualities of Heart-Mind well-being
  • Research that has demonstrated the positive impacts of social and emotional learning
  • Creating balance between educating the mind and educating the heart
