Mother Goose

Mother Goose Goes to School

The WOW bus is bringing Mother Goose to your neighborhood school!  Funded by the Ministry of Educations Ready, Set, Learn program, the bus will visit each school weekly for a 5 week session starting in September until April.

What does Mother Goose do on the bus while it is parked at the school?

When you climb aboard the Mother Goose WOW bus, you will be greeted by Mother Goose who will have lots of songs, stories, and fun to share!  Do you remember “Roly-Poly” or “Criss Cross Applesauce”?

This program is a playful, magical group experience for young children and their parents or childcare providers.  Based on a well-recognized and respected educational program using the practice of rhymes, songs and storytelling, Mother Goose will help to enrich relationships and build literacy skills through this oral tradition.  Singing, listening to stories and then learning them is the best part about early literacy.

Towards the end of the 5 week session, we plan to head into the school to explore and familiarize ourselves with the building, the faces, the library, etc.

Come join us for songs, stories, rhymes, books and resources for parents, grandparents, caregivers, babies and young children.   Support your child’s early learning experiences using the Ready, Set, Learn Parent Booklet.

Mother Goose Baby

Come and share a little ‘baby only’ time.  This session if for 0-1 year old children and their adults.  We will share songs, rhymes and stories for you and your baby to enjoy together.
