Building Learning Together has a number of programs and projects on the go at any given time and we have a variety of ways you can join in.  We like to match your interests as closely as we can and we are happy to provide opportunities for you to share your skills and experience as well as learn more about a particular interest you have.  Here are some ideas:

Technology Learning Centre – Help people learn or brush up on computer skills.  One of the best ways for you to learn is to teach others.  You don’t have to be a professional techie, you just need to have patience and a willingness to learn and share what you learn.  We have all skill levels in the lab that help each other.

Stone Soup Kitchen – Do you love to cook and bake?  This is an opportunity to share your cooking skills with children and their parents.  Imagine spending a morning surrounded by the smell of fresh baked goodies and smiling happy faces.

Munchkinlands – Join parents and their children in our popular learning through play centres.  Sure there is set up and cleaning up to do, but in between you get to PLAY and SING!

WOW Bus – That big blue bus needs to get where it’s going and that’s where our wonderful bus drivers come in.  You don’t need a special license, just a safe driving record and enjoy being around kids!  When the bus stops and the parents and children come on board it can get pretty lively and you’ll want to join Mother Goose in the sing-a-long and snack!

Storybook Village – Come on out on special programming days for help with regular ongoing maintenance and upkeep.

BLT Administration Office – Volunteer coordination, grant writing, general office duties, etc.
